What if our patient is unwilling for treatment ?

Some patients show tremendous amount of resistance for treatment. In such cases, our 3 member team can pick the patient from home in a safe and sound manner. Once in our hospital, patients are treated with utmost care. So patients easily get adjusted and make up their minds for recovery.

Do you have facilities for treatment of female patients ?

Ladies patients are provided with separate single accommodation room with full security and all the amenities. If an attendant wants to stay with female patient, that is permissible. If know attendant available, then a nurse can be arranged to stay with the patient.

What is the process of admission?

Patient and his/her family is encouraged to visit the facility.p Our Executive Director and Medical director take through history and do complete evaluation of patient. Based on individual requirements for best outcome of treatment, a comprehensive treatment plan is chalked out and discussed with family. Patient and family is thoroughly informed about the treatment process and relapse prevention program.

Can our patient be treated while staying at home ?

In special circumstances, home based treatment facility is available. Our staff daily visits the patient, takes vital signs and dispenses the Medication as advised by doctor. Our Physician frequently visits the patient at home as well.

What is out patient mode of treatment?

We do have well planned treatment for our patients for whom inpatient treatment is cumbersome for various reasons.

How are psychiatric patients treated at Sunrise Recovery?

Our Psychiatric patients have complete different set of treatments compared to patients of Substance abuse. 

So such patients have regular sessions by clinical Psychologist and Psychiatrist.

What is the success rate of treatment at Sunrise Recovery?

What happen If I relapsed after Treatment?

For most individuals in the process of addiction recovery, the journey is anything but a straight line. Even for the most determined person, the chronic nature of the disease is such that they are faced with ups and downs, successes and disappointments, and often instances of relapse. However, it is important to remember that relapse is not a sign of failure or something to be ashamed of. What is important is that the relapse is acknowledged and strong measures are taken to prevent it from happening again. Therefore, a relapse indicates that treatment needs to be reinstated immediately in order to get grounded in recovery.

At the End of my treatment, What are recommendations.

We recognize that the transition back into everyday life can be daunting and difficult to manage. This is why we thoroughly prepare Patients before departure and a personalized aftercare plan is developed by the focal counselor in conjunction with the medical and therapeutic team. The after-care programme provides the psychological and interpersonal support necessary for Patients as they assimilate back into society. Although we have a minimum requirement of 4 weeks of aftercare, we advise Patients to proactively engage in an intensive and ongoing follow-up programme to improve their chances of continuing recovery.

Will I have access to Internet/Tv, Music, during the treatment.

Patient do  have limited access to the internet or Full access to TV during treatment. However, Patients have access to communal audio/video equipment used for music and films at times indicated within the timetable.

Can I make phone calls during treatment?

Patient will be allowed to make or receive phone calls on designated days and timing, and under supervision. However phone calls will be made after the first 10-15 days, depending on which day of the week they are admitted. This is to allow Patient time to settle into our program without any outside pressures.

Can I have visitors during treatment?

Patient will be allowed to have 2-3 visitors (at a time) after the first 10-15 days, depending on which day of the week they are admitted. Visitors will only be allowed on Saturday/Sunday between 11am-2:30pm, although in exceptional circumstances other times can be arranged via prior agreement.

Why In patient treatment is mandatory

In addiction rehabilitation, inpatient or residential treatment is the most comprehensive form of treatment as it allows Patient to fully focus on their recovery without the stressors and distractions of everyday life. Residential treatment offers various specialized therapeutic interventions and alternative therapies that are essential and beneficial for recovery. Moreover, Patient receive round-the-clock care from qualified professionals which is particularly critical during the initial phase of recovery.

Time limit of Rehabilitation programme

Our residential treatment programme is a minimum 10-15 weeks followed by a minimum 8 weeks of aftercare. However, the length will vary according to the time it takes for detoxification, the Patient’s history with addiction, severity of addiction, and the presence of co-existing medical, mental or behavioral health conditions. Details will be discussed with the Patient and family during admission.

How does the treatment process Involved?

The treatment programme at Sunrise International is based on the globally recognized 12-step programme, in a holistic manner. Through a combination of group counseling, one-on-one counseling, psycho education, specialized therapeutic interventions and alternative therapies, Patient learn trust, gain personal strength and acquire the tools to successfully manage their addiction. Our treatment programme is intensive and each day is structured. Alongside the traditional elements of treatment, we incorporate the following in our programme:

What do I bring with me/my patient

Below is a suggested list of items Patient may want to bring with them, as well as a list of things that will not be permitted:

Please bring with you:

  • Comfortable and appropriate clothing for everyday use
  • Casual wear for use during exercise/fitness sessions
  • Appropriate nightwear
  • Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant (non-aerosol), and mouth wash (non-alcohol)
  • Medication that you are currently taking, along with the doctor’s prescription. If you are on long-term medication, please bring enough for 8 weeks

Please note that we provide towels and bed linen. Therefore, please do not bring excessive amounts of clothing.

Items not permitted

  • Illicit drugs or alcohol
  • Medication that is not prescribed
  • Sharp objects such as scissors, knives, needles, and razor blades
  • Anything that can be used as, or presents as, a weapon
  • Any valuables

A detailed list will be provided before admission. Furthermore, if you are unsure of any items that you wish to bring, please check with our staff who will be happy to advise. All belongings will be searched on arrival.
